The Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute, Kumulur is the implementing centre which is situated in North Eastern zone and established in the year 1990. The institute is being engaged in the activities of teaching the under graduate B. Tech (Agri. Engineering) students and concentrating the research on farm implements suited to various operation in agricultural activities. The institute is also engaged in extension activities to popularize the agricultural implements.
