Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Virinjipuram is identified as implementing centre for Poiney sub-basin activities under TNAU. This Kendra is located at Agricultural Research Station campus at Virinjipuram 17 km from Vellore. The main mandate of the KVK is conducting on farm testing, front line demonstrations, conducting on campus and off campus trainings to farmers and capacity building to extension functionaries of Vellore district.
