Agricultural Research Station, Vaigai dam had its genesis during 1965 as Government sub station for Cotton Research at Kovilpatti, Aundipatti along with a state seed farm at the base of Vaigai dam and administered by TN State Department of Agriculture.
Tamil Nadu Agricultural University brought both the farms under its fold on21-08-1995
Contributing immensely towards the betterment of our farming community through production and distribution of quality seeds.
